Made it on another blog, Heart Handmade Blog!

Hello all you lovelies on this wonderful fun day Monday. I just received news that I am being featured on another blog. It's a great site to get inspired and check out an array of very talented people and their art and crafts. So click here : http://www.hearthandmadeblog.com/upcycled-vintage-inspired-jewelry
I will tell you alittle bit about the necklace pictured above. It is made using aged brass, carved flower made of jade, genuine pearls, shells, lemon quartz, and swarovski crystals. approx. 32" I am making long necklaces right now for fall, I think they will look great with bulky sweaters and are great for layering. If you have any questions shoot me an email or check out my other site. http://www.tinarothwell.com

Loving the color of silver

I am loving the color of silver next to blues, greys and whites in this vintage bracelet. I found this at a garage sale and was so excited to bring it home. I used crystal clear glass beads, silver and black faceted glass beads, agate beads, metal beads, shells, and pearls. Measuring approx. 7 1/2" with a really nice clasp this bracelet has another 25 years left at least. I will save this piece for the next show or for the boutiques, not sure yet.

Trunk Show - Awesome Vintage Inspired Jewelry!

Last Thursday March 18th was my first official Trunk Show in Grand Rapids, Mi, and it was a huge success. I feel that when you work really hard and love what you do, it pays off. We had a great turn out and considering this market, the customers that attended, did purchase. I love the true validation when they want to stay and browse the work and continue to say it's unlike what they have now. It's unique, fresh and original. I try really hard to stay true to myself and make my work my own style. Yes, you can be inspired by others but it is always better to make the work your own. This is not always easy, but certainly the route I take whenever I create!
The piece on the left is adorned with 3 vintage hexagon glass Japanese beads, two very large natural agate nugget gemstones on aged copper chain. The piece on the right is adorned with various colors of natural green turquoise nugget gemstones, vintage tassel, topaz nugget and a very pretty baroque pearl on aged brass. Recent Works - Bracelets

I am so excited to be a part of a wonderful online shopping market place called Make Mine Pink. I immediately thought of these pretty pieces for my shop at MMP. They have a wonderful delicate romantic quality to them. I don't sew much but decided it was time. I used vintage ribbon and lace added a beautiful pink quartz stone some swarovski crystals and voilla. I think these are going to be big sellers. Stop by my shop at MMP and reserve your now!
