Fantastic Friday

I love Friday perhaps it's because I work so hard Mon-Thurs. I feel like it's my play-day!!! I get to be with friends today and my lovely daughter. I think we will go antiquing. I really try hard to edit my schedule to take time for myself and the wonderful things I enjoy. Life goes too fast doesn't it? I have another jewelry show scheduled for March and I have been working really hard to have a great one with a wide variety of lovelies for everyone to choose from. Here is another one for you to enjoy! Oh a few fun facts about this piece. It is made with vintage oversized copper links and copper small links with a vintage brooch, white turquoise, freshwater pearls and swarovski crystals.

Vintage Jewelry Inspiration

This is my latest little dittie and I am loving this little number. This piece fits any size and I used silver, blue and crystals as my palette. I think it will go with just about everything. I sent quite a few pieces to a local store this week and she took everything she saw, I feel blessed. Hard work does pay off!!! I cleaned the studio yesterday and I am starting to feel organized. I have to get back to painting as well. I miss mixing the paint. Let's see what comes out of the studio. hummmm

launching the new jewelry site

So here is another sample of the vintage inspired jewelry on my new web site. I think your going to absolutely love it. The jewelry feels alittle bit vintage but with a new contemporary twist. Check it out you won't be disappointed. http://www.crazycrystalsandpearls.com This particular piece was made with a vintage brooch and freshwater pearls and as always with swarovski crystals on aged brass. I purchased this brooch when I was in Phoenix visiting my daughter. I wonder who the lucky person will be that ends up with this oh so lovely jewelry. Part of the fun in making my jewelry is the fact that the majority of it is repurposed or recycled. Trying hard to be green. Every little effort makes a difference. Right?
