Mixed Media Bracelet

I am working on some spring and summer designs for a new store coming to town. More to come on the new concept boutique here in Grand Rapids, MI. But because the owners love to recycle and are very eco-friendly, I have decided to incorporate recycled components in this seasons designs. In this piece I have vintage glass elephants, vintage gold and turquoise end caps surrounding blue shell pearls along with an ivory vintage glass bead. These passe' lovelies pair nicely with genuine pearls, crystals and a large blue and white genuine agate. Oh so lovely! For an added bonus I have been adding tassels on my summer designs for that elegance we all love. As always SavvyandSky has amazing pieces for you or that perfect gift your looking for.

Wedding Bracelet for the Hip, Bold or Daring Bride!

Do we always need to think in terms of delicate, dainty and demure, when we think wedding? I think not, this bracelet would certainly work for the bride and/or bridesmaid! I recycled silver heavy metal chains a rhinestone chain, added a simple lobster claw, swarovski crystals and three large genuine pearls and something aahhmazing happened. This bracelet can be worn to a wedding or anyday. I love the simplicity of the genuine pearls contrasted with the heavy metal, nice! Big, Bold and Beautiful can be key or an interesting way to switch it up. As always contact me or check out my website to purchase.

Christmas Shopping for Necklaces and Bracelets

I just hosted my annual Christmas Shopping Event/ Open House and it was very successful. I tried something different this year and limited the show to only jewelry. I love to see what sells every year and the winner was all my earrings and necklaces that I had incorporated crystals. Perhaps it was the time of the year and all the gals were looking for the bling, whatever the reason it was fun to see what was selling. In the pieces above I had taken some chains of different sort and added very large crystals to give that trendy look, paired them with pearls and oh we add that elegance real fast. When I shop for myself I have a tendency to look for a high contrast in metals, textures or color. I love pieces that stand out alittle. I feel chic when I dress in one color and add that pop to my ensemble with my jewelry, whether it's my jewelry or another designer.

all white pearls - wedding jewelry

I had an order for a wedding necklace, and this is what I came up with. Very large amazing baroque pearls in ivory and whites along side white freshwater pearls. I simply adore this beautiful necklace. The baroques are very organic and have an amazing shape and form to them. You don't see them too often because they are rather expensive, and hard to find. What a unique and pretty piece to wear with that spectacular wedding dress. I did also make matching earrings!

swarovski crystals, shells and freshwater pearl necklace for christmas

This is one of my lastest designs and it is so sweet I love it. The swarovski crystal is the main focal point in this piece creating that juxtapostion that I love so much. That elegant and rough thing, gotta love it. I added the silk bow as something sweet, kind of like the icing on the cake. This piece has not only crystals, pearls, shells but I also added a few garnets for the elegance we girls love. This piece can be worn daily or out for a night on the town. It measures around 18" approx. You can see it for sale on my new site that should be up and running real soon. CrazyCrystalsandPearls.com check it out!
