winning hands package

i had so much fun entering an art swap in the sweet goodness art swap, here are the wonderful gifts i received. since i love mixed media so much, i must admit my favorite piece is the art work! i love how kris wrote on the piece very effortlessly with white. i found the winning hands idea was abit challenging for me, because i don't gamble, play cards or collect anything pertaining to the four suits. however, i rose to the challenge and came out of my comfort zone and really enjoyed it!!! take a look at kris's items, so cool and she really stuck to the concept. hats off to you kris,good job!!!

Doesn't look the same does it? Well the pic isn't all that good and I am alittle too lazy to reshoot it. I am however building up the layers and you can barely see the underpainting. I need to have this ready in a couple of days, so I will use acrylic and build from there. It's going to be really cute when I am done. These wonderful whimsical collages are great fun and they make great gifts for any occasion.
