You are in for a treat! I am sharing a recipe from one of my dearest friends. She makes these pumpkin
bars whenever she needs a large dessert to share. This recipe is great for a family gathering at Halloween or Thanksgiving. ENJOY!
Pumpkin Bars
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup salad oil, crisco
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 can pumpkin ( large can 25oz. )
- Mix:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking salt
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- Frosting:
- 1 (6 oz) package cream cheese
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1 Tbs milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- Bake 350 degrees on a greased and floured jelly roll pan for 25 minutes or until done.
- Allow to cool and then add frosting.
